Lake Harmony (2 min drive)

Tucked into the hills of Carbon County is a vacation destination packed with things to do. Lake Harmony provides an ideal outdoor getaway in all four seasons.

Bushkill Falls (50 min drive)

The "Niagara of Pennsylvania," Bushkill Falls is among the Keystone State's most famous scenic attractions. This unique series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible through an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges which afford fabulous views of the falls and the surrounding forest.

Jim Thorpe (27 min drive) 

Offering both the charms of a European village and the thrills of a mountain sports destination, this historic town nestled in Lehigh Gorge in Carbon County is one of the great gems of the Poconos.Founded in 1818 and originally known as Mauch Chunk, Jim Thorpe is now named after the greatest athlete of all time, and there's plenty of rich history to discover. The elegant Victorian mansions which were once home to turn-of-the-century industrialist millionaires have been revitalized, and today house unique shops, dining, museums, galleries and popular entertainment venues.

Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area (5 min drive)

Perfect for quick, gentle hikes, or for a family with small kids. This natural area once hosted a roller rink, dance hall, and swimming pools until the great flood of 1955 wiped it all away. Now this nature preserve is perfect for a day of walking, fishing, picnicking, photography, bird watching, and peaceful contemplation.
